October 19, 2006
Shanghai-based RDA Microelectronics announced that they have completed the sampling and testing of the world's first single-chip TD-SCDMA (Time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) RF (Radio Frequency) IC based on CMOS (Complementary Metal–Oxide Semiconductor) technology. RDA's RF transceiver solution supports both the 2010 - 2025MHz and the 1880 - 1920MHz frequency bands and can switch between the two.
